Just returned from the NCL Pearl. What a pleasant surprise! The ship featured Freestyle Cruising 2.0 which is the latest enhancements to NCL's cruise experience. It starts with a glass of Champagne when you board and an escort to your stateroom. The ship has 5 specialty restaurants where you can eat what you want and when you want - this is the backbone of freestlye cruising. Almost all cruise lines have replicated this concept in one form or another. I really enjoyed the steak house restaurant (Casey's). It is just like eating at the Keg while at sea!
Our bed had a memory foam mattress and cotton sheets. This was by far the most comfortable bed I've slept-in while at sea.
If you are looking for a great value in cruising I highly recommend the NCL Pearl. To me it is like a Delta Hotel that travels with you. Clean and modern / no Four Seasons but enjoyable.
