Celebrity Cruises plans several different itineraries from the New York area to Bermuda when it resumes sailing to the island nation in 2010.
The line says the 2,038-passenger Celebrity Summit will sail both traditional seven-night all-Bermuda voyages that include three days on the island and combination Bermuda/New England voyages that include a shorter visit to Bermuda paired with a visit to Newport, Rhode Island or Boston. Several longer voyages also are planned for the end of the season.
The sailings will depart from Bayonne, New Jersey on Sundays from April to mid-June of 2010. The line is opening bookings for the trips this week.
Celebrity also has announced details of its first-ever seven-night Canada/New England sailings, which will take place on the Summit throughout July and August of 2010. The itinerary includes stops in Saint John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine.
Celebrity says in September and October of 2010 it'll offer its standard 14-night cruises of the region on the Summit with an overnight stay in Quebec City, Quebec, and stops in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
